Tanya Goodman began her musical career in an early childhood music class at the age of three. These classes sparked in her a life-long love of music and she went on to complete a Bachelor of Music degree with honours in flute performance at Sydney Conservatorium of Music and a Graduate Diploma in Education. Over the last fifteen years, Tanya has run a successful flute studio preparing students for AMEB exams from beginners up to Bachelor Degree level, worked as an instrumental & ensembles tutor at various private schools (including SHORE & Frensham), taught on staff at Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and taught Secondary Music both here in New South Wales and in the United Kingdom.

Tanya sincerely believes in the value of early childhood education so, after the birth of her eldest daughter, she began looking for a music programme that was specifically tailored for young children. After looking into various early childhood music programmes, Tanya was so impressed with Kindermusik that she commenced training immediately in order to teach her own classes. After recently moving to the Southern Highlands with her husband in early 2007, she established Sunshine Music and introduced the latest Kindermusik curricula (for children 0 to 7 years) to Bowral.

Tanya brings her love of music, education and her own young children together in her Kindermusik classes and enjoys the chance to offer high-quality musical experiences for children to enjoy with their families here in the Southern Highlands. These experiences not only give the children a chance to bond with their parents and socialise with other children of a similar age, but also provide valuable foundations for future learning in their life. Tanya lives in Burradoo with her husband Michael and their two daughters, Eloise & Ainslie.
