Tanya and Edwina met when they were both twelve years old when they were both members of a small group of young flautists selected to perform with the Honourable James Galway and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in the Australian Premiere of John Corigliano Flute Concerto The Pied Piper Fantasy. Later, as young adults, the pair became firm friends during the four years they shared at Conservatorium of Music whilst completing their Music degrees. After moving to the Southern Highlands independently with their young families, they bumped into each other in Coles one day and soon after, decided to combine their energies through Sunshine Music's Kindermusik programme.

Tanya Goodman (Teaches Tues, Wed & Thurs in Bowral)

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Music (honours) in Flute Performance from Sydney Conservatorium of Music; a Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary Music); LMusA & AMusA Diplomas from the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB). A member of Sydney Youth Orchestra and the Australian Youth Wind Orchestra, she studied flute with Geoffrey Collins, Margaret Crawford & Prue Page. Tanya has been a Licensed Kindermusik Educator since 2006.

Edwina Carter (Edwina is currently taking a break to enjoy her new baby)

Edwina holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute performance from Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She studied flute with Rosamund Plummer (principal Piccolo player with Sydney Symphony Orchestra) & was a member of the SBS Youth Orchestra for a number of years. Edwina is a Licensed Kindermusik Educator.
